Steward of Stories,

Beauty and Belonging

FOUND

on the Guadalupe River

Part poetry collection, part photographic journal, Found on the Guadalupe River emerged from a year spent stewarding stories along the Guadalupe River in the aftermath of the July 4, 2025 flood. The work grew out of Found on the Guadalupe River, a volunteer effort dedicated to recovering, preserving, and reuniting flood-displaced belongings with the people who lost them.

Written in parking lots, warehouses, laundromats, and quiet moments between long days, these poems explore grief, hope, resilience, memory, and the unexpected beauty that remains after everything changes.

More than a record of a season, Found is an invitation to pay attention—to what is fragile, what endures, and what it means to be human.
